We host our open mic-slam that includes a writing workshop for youth ages 13-19. Our poetry nights offer powerful platforms for self-expression, creativity, and community building.
Writing Workshop
Each slam we will include a workshop before the slam with the featured artist.

Our writing workshops offer a space for poets to step out of their comfort zones, share their voices, explore their identities, and develop their artistic skills.
Open Mic and Slam
Our open mic and slam encourages teens to learn from one another creating a sense of community and shared purpose among young writers. Each month we will host an open mic that will conclude with a qualifier slam. Winners of the slam will qualify to compete in semi-finals for a chance at the final stage this season. The top poets in finals will get a chance to represent NJ and participate in the youth poetry festival Brave New Voices in July.
